After years of being a major planner, always 5 steps ahead, and in my head a lot...I seem to have found this little “pocket” or “space” that I’ve created, that I comfortably relax in now. Don’t get me wrong, I still “plan” ahead, have goals to reach, and manifest my desired outcome. But rather than trying to figure every detail of life out in advance, I have found peace in taking each day as it comes.
There is true benefit in starting each day with clear intention, and I sit with the faith I have in myself and the life I’ve created, knowing that every day is going to be ok. Because I look at challenges as opportunities for growth and learning, even when I encounter difficulties, it’s still going to be ok.
I’ve found that by living each day to the best of my ability for where I am that day (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually), taking care of myself first (can’t pour from an empty cup), and sharing all the extra energy and love that oozes out of me with my family, friends, and clients....I‘m able to go with the flow...and know that everything is going to be perfect.
My hope is for everyone out there, especially anyone who experiences more than “normal” worry/anxiety/fear/a need to control everything...to eventually find their “pocket” to relax in. Finding happiness and peace is attainable.
