Hey everyone! I have for you today a new career, I say new, it's not really new because other people have already done it but I just wasn't personally happy with the other ones people had made
COMPATIBLE WITH PATCH 1.53 (The patch that changed the main menu and loading screens that majority of us moaned about)
Cats&dogs is required for this career to work as it uses the dog training and veterinarian skills to progress through.
I decided to make this because as much fun as it is to build your own vets, sometimes I just can't be bothered to save the money then start building as well, sometimes it's just nice for them to go to a little rabbit hole.
1 - Receptionist / $15 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Friday / Charisma 2
As a receptionist you are the front of house and first person people will see, this is a great start off point as you slowly learn about the pets that are coming in, plus who doesn't love giving out some pets to the good boys and girls.
2 - Rescue Care Assistant / $25 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Friday / Charisma 3 / Dog Training 2
Working in a rescue centre is hard work, you get unloved dogs coming in, getting attached to them and then have to watch them leave with their new families, it's tough but just know, they love you as much as you love them.
3 - Assistant Dog Handler / $28 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Friday / Dog Training 3
As a dog handler you will be learning about the techniques to keep dogs under control, wether it be jumping, pulling on a lead or even aggressive behaviour, you will know how to control it all in the end.
4 - Veterinary Care Assistant / $32 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Friday / Veterinarian 2
You're finally getting closer to the big leagues, you're at the point where you're starting to make a difference, you may only be an assistant but you're learning more every day, and most importantly, you're helping these pets every day.
5 - Veterinary Senior / $40 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Friday / Charisma 5 / Veterinarian 4
As a senior you are in charge of a team of assistants, and are their first port of call when they're not sure or something is going wrong. When not in charge of your assistants you make the diagnosis on pets without any help.
6 - Animal Behaviourist Assistant / $60 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Friday / Dog Training 4
Learning about animals behaviours and why they do things the way they do is an important to getting to the bottom of things sometimes as not everything is known about them, just look for the subtle signs when they do certain things.
7 - Animal Behaviourist Senior / $120 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Thursday / Dog Training 5 / Charisma 7
Finally! Learning about all this little behaviours has brought you so far, unfortunately when you talk to people sometimes you end up looking at their behaviour as well and have to try not to go into a big speech about it.
8 - Canine Hydrotherapist / $150 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Thursday / Veterinarian 6
Time to put your little canine friends into some water with a support to get their limbs moving again, make sure to tell them how good they are once they're finished!
9 - Veterinary Nurse / $200 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Thursday / Charisma 10 / Veterinarian 10
You're now on the sidelines of the operation table, checking vitals, handing over equipment to the surgeon, you're almost there.
10 - Veterinary Surgeon / $300 per hour / 9AM - 5PM / Monday - Wednesday
You've finally made it up to being a surgeon, all the hard work has paid off, but now the life of cats and dogs are in your hands.
