just a question does anyone feel as unreasonably strongly as i do towards podoboos from the mario series? i wouldn't even really consider myself a mario fan but i gaze upon these things with the same level of paternal adoration as a 40 year old man watching his precious daughter perform at her first ballet recital

Hold on, Podoboo?? I think I made this circa 2017-2018 but I didn't know that by then I still called Lava Bubbles, "Podoboos". That hasn't been their official name for quite a while now! Makes me think if this art is older, or I was just refusing to call them Lava Bubbles.

It felt wierdly empty now, and he knew it was because of someone, just didn't know who.

this is lava bubble. also known as podoboo, or sparky, or spark spook, or just bubble. i like podoboo best because it's fun to say. so this is podoboo. he's from mario. he's a fireball, and he has eyes so you know hes a guy and not just a fireball. he lives in lava and in castles which are usually filled with lava. he likes to jump out of lava pits and scare mario, making lava pits even more dangerous than a pit full of lava would normally be already. you can't really kill him, usually, because he's on fire. you can use ice though, in the "New" games with ice. i think the cape in World can also kill him. maybe? you can kill most things with the cape, that item was pretty broken. so i'm gonna say you probably can
