Ana Roxanne - Poem 1
Ana Roxanne : Untitled II (Poem 1 - Kranky 2026)
Ana Roxanne | Untitled II from Poem 1
Set fire to all I know No peace or self-control Taking and holding on Desire burns through my heart Closer, closer to what I want I get so high on this low Losing what I had Gave it all away
Now lay those sorrowfull complaints aside, And having all your heads with girland crownd, Helpe me mine owne loues prayses to resound, Ne let the same of any be enuide, So Orpheus did for his owne bride, So I into my selfe alone will sing, The woods shall to me answer and my Eccho ring.
Edmund Spenser, from “Poem 1″
I had fallen in love with someone
Tall yet, uncertain
A monster of a kind, dangerous but true
I couldn't hold myself from loving you
Those days I've reached my hands towards those skeletal hands
It felt... warm
It's just too bearable to let go
Although, I have no choice but to leave you alone
I can't hold back any longer
I hope one day, if might come true
I wished to see you once the moon is blue

Poem #1
woah i’m writing poems now???
You are not alone
in this silent fight,
in this lonely battle
in the dead of night.
There are no screams of agony,
nor are there pain-filled shouts,
but the tears still come,
and the tears are hot.
As the days pass by,
as the nights go on,
sometimes we all are silent,
sometimes we all are torn.
In the hands of fate,
with the words of destiny,
you are not alone,
please, just trust me.
~Welcome~
Welcome to my abyss
Where I prisoned my thoughts;
They are my treasures- with whom
I constantly made love and repeatedly fought.
I Am You
Often it is said miracles are rare in occurrence.
Misfortune is easier to come across in everyday life.
A normal day on a normal plot of land.
Normal house with an abnormal dysfunctional family.
Blue sky, dry eyes and a gift from down below staining an entire family line.
Simply said death kissed a beautiful soul and like water clear and undisturbed a black drop of ink pure dropped in.
Spreading in looming clouds and forming an image all its own. A blur of misfortune, agony can overtake a person not used to the poison, for me has become regular and almost all too familiar.
How does it become normal for someone?
Most would never know unless you were blessed with misfortunes footsteps just behind you.
Many events led me here and now I wish to share a tale of how I am you.
