full circle

my day begins

with the moonset

small

but determinedly bright

distinct against

the lightening sky

my day ends

with the moonrise

faint

but growing brighter

sharp against

the darkening sky

Hero (Poem #15)

In need of help! In need of a hero!

One as dark as night, The one that keeps my nightmares fake! In need of a hero!

Not no Super Man, No Spider-Man, No Batman.

But a hero of my own kind, With long blonde or black hair, And sky blue eyes that could light up the night. The one that kept me laughing, And waiting for that long drive to see him!

The one that looked emo, But jammed out to Riff Raff! One that called me a faggot, So he could be lesbian!

The one that filled my world, With laughter and smiles!

The one I fell hard for, And am still in love with! Even tho I have love right now.

Wanted: the hero, That made a deal to date me in a year!

The hero, That made everyday worth waiting for, So I could talk to him.

Missing, The hero!
