If You Love too Hard

"If you love it let it go."

No one has ever heard such a controversial statement.

Mixing the laws of contentment and containment.

By loving your hurting and what you've always known is lost.

You want them to be happy but yet at what cost?

It took so much heartache, so much sweat, blood and tears.

And now your telling me to let it all disappear?

Dad

I found someone

Who thinks I'm so amazing

Like you never did

Seen the beauty in me

Like you never could

And keeps me

Like you never dared

Dad

You don't have to fake it anymore

Cause I found someone

Who never had to
