The Point Brewery, Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Some of these bottles are tipsy already by Frank Kovalchek Via Flickr: We stopped in Stevens Point, WI to visit our great friend Jodi and her family. I've known Jodi since she was a young tyke in western PA. She gave us a tour of her fair city and we ended up at the Point Brewery for a tour. Quite possibly the best brewery tour ever even though we don't remember that much about it! Heather also had her first bratwurst here - great stuff! We love the joys of traveling! I took these photos in September 2015 during our epic cross-country road trip.

The best gourmet soda I've ever had!
Weekend Preview Wednesday
Now that the recovery from the Harley 110th celebration is over, we have some more cool stuff for you to do this weekend. Well, your Friday is covered anyway. We’re going to give you a start at making your weekend a good one and the rest is up to you.
You can catch a showing of the movie Ted down at the Discovery World Museum as part of Point Fish Fry and A Flick. There are plenty of food and beer options available for you to choose from. And come on, you’d be eating a fish fry and drinking beer at home anyway so stop being anti social and hang out by the lake with some friend. The movie starts at dusk. If fish and beer aren’t your thing, Milwaukee’s own The Fatty Acids will be playing the Pabst for their album release show. Their third album Bolero is ready for your ears to experience and they want to give it to you live. They’ll be joined by Faux Fur and Sat. Nite Duets. (http://pabsttheater.org/show/thefattyacids2013)
And if you hate fish, beer, and music, we have something for you also. Karma Bar & Grill (600 E. Ogden Ave.) has a comedy series going on that will hopefully make you laugh some of that hate out. The Milwaukee Stand Up Showcase is filled with many different comedians with different styles of making you laugh. With this variety, you should not walk away disappointed. And if you do, maybe there’s something wrong with you. It’s Friday night and the show starts at 8:30. Tickets are just $10 so stop being cheap.
