i often think about how hard it would be to logically incorporate actual animals into stories with anthro characters in it
like if there’s a main character thats a cat and they own a cat as a pet, wouldnt they feel a little put off by owning their species ?? like is that ofd to think about or am i unoriginal
i feel like if it was some sort of story where the anthro characters lived alongside humans and whatnot it would open the possibility of the anyhro characters owning pets up a little but it is just confusing
i also had an idea of anthro characters owning humanish things as pets
but they wouldnt be like straight up human they be all fucked up and gross due to selective breeding and shit
like imagine a pug or one of those xl bully pitbulls but as some weird pseudo-human thing being owned by a happy rabbit couple or something and they named it sparkles or wgatever i duniooooo mannn
