Honestly the queue and schedule post options on Tumblr are extremely underrated. No other major social networking site has the ability to do that with the same ease as Tumblr does, and we've had them for like a decade now. They're fantastic features and Tumblr doesn't get enough credit for having them.

I'm actually willing to assert that Tumblr actually has some of the best site functionality:

- queue/schedule system

- tagging that doesn't interfere with the actual content of posts

- the ask/inbox system

- ability to make likes/following lists private

- ability to reblog posts multiple times

- the "Keep Reading" feature

- ability to easily post different media. AFAIK Tumblr is the only social media site that lets you post audio without it being a video.

- dash is always in reverse chronological order

the ability to almost entirely customize your home page is pretty neat, too

I could go on about this forever but I firmly believe that Tumblr is a remnant from a time before companies figured out how to efficiently monetize social media, and as such it's designed with users instead of advertisers in mind.

That's both why it has continued to have active avid users in spite of a lot of technical /policy issues, and why it hasn't been massively profitable.

I treasure this garbage site.

DAY 9 - “Let’s do something that puts us on the naughty list.”

It's Christmas Eve in Cradle.

A celebration of many old traditions - now, ever since Red and Black became allies, a new annual event is held to remind of peace and unition in the eve of the brightest holiday. This year too, the venue is lavishly decorated for the occasion and welcomes army members from both sides.

Ray has been to enough of these parties to know exactly what it means when his two lovers disappear into thin air all of a sudden.

He carefully sneaks his way out of the party and towards the secluded area he's already well familiar with.

Alice's lips are still warm with Lancelot's breath on them when a sudden jolt runs thought her, caused by a firm slap landing on her ass. The man next to her makes a similar noise of surprise as, he received one as well. Though, unlike Alice, his gaze is quick to sharpen into a death glare - directed at Ray, she now discovers as she turns around.

"Interrupting something?"

To Ray's question filled of suspicion and a tint of smirk, Alice hurries to explain the innocent nature of their endeavors, withdrawing from Lancelot's embrace to make herself more presentable.

"We-"

"We were discussing arranging an afterparty only for the three of us. Congratulations, you ruined the surprise."

Thought Ray is touched at even the sheer implication that Lancelot would plan something with him in mind, he is sure not to stray too much from the point. The two of them still could have perfectly well conversated by the table instead. He's spent too much time with the red King not to know how he'd twist things around sometimes on purpose.

"Uh-huh. Still sounds suspicious to me."

Ray leans in to steal a kiss from Lancelot that would hopefully soften him and erase the frown from his face. Whether he was speaking the truth or they were really sneaking away to make out, Ray feels equally intrigued about it either way. 

The blond only pushes him back by the chest most demonstratively, but only for the sake of being the one to initiate the kiss instead. Ray decides to not lean too much into it, preventing the high possibility of being bitten by the tongue.

"An afterparty sounds good. I see that I'm not the only one bored with tonight's event."

Scooting over to Alice's side, considering her a far better target for his kisses, Ray wraps an arm around her waist to pull her in closer.

"Has anyone told you that you're a terrible host?"

Ray hates that he has to put an end to such a passionate kiss just to reply to Lancelot, but ignoring him would lead to no good.

"Now, you're just being an ass, Lancelot. We'll see how the Red Army handles it next year."

Alice can sense the tension raising between her two boyfriends, albeit in a manner that brings no harm. For a good measure she palms Ray's chin, gently squeezing his face to turn it towards herself - and to shush with him a kiss.

Lancelot approves of the method, having a good history of putting it to work with the younger king. He is not even trying to excuse his way of watching them go through their following kiss, already planning on how to steal Alice in his arms next.

Ray is getting a little too lost into it perhaps, with how playful he gets, his hands indecisive on where to stay on her waist.

"This dress looks very nice on you, Alice."

Another pair of hands wrap around her from behind, this time resting much higher, soft fingertips dipping in the underside of her pushed-up bosom.

"I agree."

Alice giggles a little, being more than pleased with her outfit for tonight and only glad that her lovers seem to like it as well. If she weren't held so securely in their handsy grasp, she'd do a little spin to show off further for them.

"White and red, huh… I see you're not on my team tonight."

She clicks her tongue at his comment but not without a little chuckle, putting a hand on Ray's head to caress his hair as he'd duck to place a kiss on her exposed cleavage. The white fur on the rim of the dress and its red color, she hasn't thought much about the possible link to the Red army's uniforms. But she can see where he comes from, guessing that the golden details on it just make the connection more liable.

"No, silly, those are just the Christmas colors…"

"Are you drunk, King of spades?"

Lancelot frees one hand from groping over Alice's breasts to where Ray has his face shoved in them, pulling him up by the hair to have a better look at him. Now that Alice thinks about it, it would make a perfect sense - from the ridiculous things he says to the clingy behavior he's adapted in the past few minutes - not that it comes off as a surprise. Surely not a negative one.

"Not as much as you think I am. Though, if my lovers continue to disregard me like that, I'll have to resort to alcohol for company."

"Suit yourself."

"Lancelot!" Alice is quick to take in the role of the peacemaker again, elbowing him lightly. It proves to be efficient because the blond speaks again soon.

"Alright Ray. What do you suggest we do to entertain you, then?"

Ray smirks in a way that almost says I knew you love me, but he lowers his face before his expression could show more than he lets on. He gets another whiff of Alice, finding something dangerously appealing in her perfume that Lancelot has already pointed out to her earlier in the evening. It almost makes him lose his train of thought.

"I say, let's spice things up a bit. Let's do something that puts us on the naughty list."

This time it's Lancelot's turn to snicker, as if it was far too predictable where this is going. Not that he is against it, no.

Alice's humming curls in a pleasant note, a hand encouraging Ray towards her chest once again.

"I like the idea. What do you think, Lance?"

"I think the King of spades has already earned his place on the "naughty list", fair and square."

It's time for Alice to run her fingers through Lancelot's hair and tug him in the place she desires, just as she did with Ray - a kiss should be better than whatever he's getting at. She makes sure to cut it off short enough to tease him.

"Let's not start about that. We know you weren't a good boy either, Lance…"

"Alice."

His tone is firm, more demanding for another kiss than for her to not speak another word, really. He pushes his hot mouth against hers, furiously so - easily leaving her breathless, until prying a broken moan from her lips. Good. Now, he can be nice and give her a more gentle kiss.

Alice pauses for breath and rolls her head on Lancelot's shoulder, groaning under Ray's ministrations as he pulls down her dress enough to free her breasts and to immediately cover them with his warm tongue. He also moves to place a leg between hers, pelvis rubbing every other time against Alice's lower belly.

Lancelot is caressing her cheek while she rests her head on his shoulder, teeth grazing the shell of her ear. This close up, Alice's words are lower than a whisper.

"Oh my god, he is so hard already…"

"Of course he is."

Lancelot's matter-of-factly tone is probably very unwelcomed at this point, as he can predict the next "scolding" he is about to earn himself. On top of that, he practically never answered Alice in the way she expected him to answer - because yes, Gods, he likes the idea - a twitch in his own pants reminding him so. In a similar fashion to how Ray resorted to bare Alice, Lancelot drags the flimsy clothing from the hem up. It does a quick job of leaving Alice's whole bottom accessible to his hands - and to Lancelot's surprise, it's a little… more accessible than expected.

"You're not wearing underwear on an official party?"

The last part is necessary, to distinguish the emphasis here. Of course it's no new practice in the history of their own sexual adventures for her to forgo putting on underwear in order to tease and drive both men crazy.

"Surprise?..."

She could try to sound innocent all she wants, there is no escape the thing she just provoked in Lancelot. And most definitely, in Ray, as well. The latter's laugher fills the air as he finally withdraws, content with his work of marking Alice's chest with demonstrations of his love. Hopefully they'll get all hidden once he moves the top of the dress on its original place.

"Fuck, Alice." The smile refuses to leave his face, as he smoothly raises one of her legs, hooking it over his arm. He swears he is going to kill Lancelot if he doesn't let him be the first one to fuck her right now. Not before he makes sure his aching-hard cock eases into her soft walls does he pick up his speech where he left.

"It seems like you're not that far behind us on the naughty list, are you?"
