Degradation of female characters
So reading a Riverdale fic on Wattpad and I noticed some comments on them. They all pretty much state the same thing how they hate this one female character and then proceed to call the character a bitch or that she should just fuck off. I personally liked the character just fine. However, I was just so surprised to see such cruel words. Yes, I know it is all just a story and I shouldn't take it seriously. Yet these were all coming from women. It really bothers me how some women will degrade others just because they don't agree with another woman's choices. I don't know maybe im being overly sensitive but I just can't understand why women knowing how hard it can be for our gender and the trials we all face can participate in situations like these. Can someone give me a good explanation for such senseless hate?
