I was excited to see a beautiful sunrise at Point Pelee National Park but the weather did not cooperate with me. With heavy overcast skies you can see in the second photo the sunrise was uneventful—apart from the view that is! . So I turned toward my side and found this unique display of lights that at that moment didn’t know what it could have been. . Perhaps it was some form of secret operation I had uncovered at blue hour that morning, or maybe it could have been an alien trying to communicate with us with a beautiful display of lights! . All of these exciting thoughts went poof! when I found out there was an airport in that general direction…which meant these lights were more than likely shining high up towards the clouds so that any incoming flights could easily identify the location of the runway. . But then the question remains, why would anyone fly in that early in the morning? 🤔 . Anyone know what these lights may have been? . #questionoftheday #pointpeleenationalpark #pointpelee #pointpeleenp #parkscanada #marshland #canadianlandscape #ontarionature #discoveron #explorecanada #enroutemag #outdoorslife #swampland #tourismcanada #canada #sharecangeo #yourshotphotographer (at Point Pelee National Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CeOWfAVOPIt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
