Welcome to the POA Act 4 ARG: Dimensional Corpus Defragmentation (DiCoDe).
Sourcelings on the POA Discord server found a rather odd URL transmitted via inter-dimensional radio yesterday...
DiCoDe is an exploration through the inner workings of our dear friend and narrator, Ellis Whispers. Created by Apeiron, modified by Nara, fed by you, and evolved all on their own— what kinds of errant files does Ellis have floating around in their system? What backstory is contained within?
DiCoDe is not time-bound, and will be available to play whenever you feel inspired to peruse it. Discord participation is not required. DiCoDe can be a solo journey or a group effort, although certain content will be more easily accessed via collaboration between multiple individuals.
DiCoDe is on par with standard POA chapters in terms of content warnings.
More specifically, it contains references to space travel, loss of identity, megalophobia, altered mental states, one mild jumpscare (more of a startle), glitch effects, mild reference to Mirrorling consumption/eating habits/cannibalism, murder, gore, blood, death, homesickness, mental illness, themes of depersonalization and colonialism.
Photosensitivity: DiCoDe contains mild glitch effects on the loading screen and some text, but no high contrast flickering images. For those sensitive to glitch effects, you can enable Reduce Motion in the options menu.
Thank you to my dear friends Aaron and Graham for their hard work in designing and executing this amazing game, to Fiona and Aryn for marketing and providing additional materials, and to Basil and Isaac for creating incredible art we are so excited to feature as part of DiCoDe.
Good luck!
