It's like their nerves were prepared for the question; it was just a matter of time until vermin were brought up. Of course... Instinctually, attention turns to the dark corners around them, scanning for any scuttling movement about, in case there was an audience of said animal nearby.

They remember how it began, but back then it was getting rid of evidence. It didnt even register as providing for another living creature until they watched what happened after they threw the corpse down into that dark pit of slick stones and crawling rodents. There was barely anything to see except for the glint from those hundreds of beady eyes. But the sound. Like the settled beginning of a meal when the only sound is of teeth tearing into food. So many sets of teeth.

Eating was the best thing rat's were good at. It took too long to clean and prepare one to be a sufficient meal itself. Only a few desperate winters did the young Noxian catch one taking what they could, only to fall sick after. The other vermin remembered, anyway, and became scarce. So their little routine had stayed in place, especially when anyone had thought to corner them in the waterways thinking they had the upper-hand. Down there they'd have to be quick with seeing what their adversaries had on them, since the fresh blood attracted the rodents in droves, and quickly.

That was a lifetime ago, now. The last body they had dropped in a sewer for the purpose of disappearing happened years past. But another, major change in their life had occurred, and maybe older tactics would come in handy once again if they were going to need to be moving through the Empire's capital unseen. Their work would need to leave an unfollowable trail. Or at least go through a rat nest on the way.

5. I've not played ranked for a hot minute so unranked atm! I was silver 3-2 at the beginning of the year I think. I've not had any time to play...

11. I don't remember matches super well, tho i used to be so panicky and anxious id get teary in games i was playing badly. though my worst overall time was during the SG 2022 event with just an abundance of toxic people beginning arguing before minions spawned or insulting teammates right from champ select? just back to back and cause it was the VN event i felt obligated to play (and then we got all the story stuff anyway but you know--) and it made me eventually have my first purposeful break from league.

but I think my worst time w league is the FOMO i still have from missing tiny things i really wanted, like the twitch shadowfoot esport emote that i didnt even know existed until a few DAYS after it wasnt available anymore forever?? or the elderwood xayah exclusive event chroma, stuff like that 🥺😔
