Holy HECK did I forget how hard it is to get Drilbur in Gen 5!

When you don’t want to catch Drilbur it keeps popping up EVERY TIME

When you DO want to catch Drilbur you have to save before spamming repels and soft-reset when you’re all out because IT’S SO HARD!

so right now I’m level-grinding a bunch of my pokemon to level 91 (which might as well be level 100 since the highest level you can ask for on the GTS is “91 to 100″) so that I have a wider range of level 100 stuff to trade off on the GTS when searching for shinies (because more often the person with a shiny is gonna ask for a level 100 landorus rather than just a regular one), and right now I’m prioritizing legendaries in particular because my legendary box is starting to overflow and I want to move more of them to the level 100 box

I remember people complaining about regigigas’s ability (or should I say disability) way back in gen 4 when this thing was first revealed. how “slow start” makes it practically useless to use in battle because it halves its stats for the first like... 5 turns or whatever. and a lot can happen in 5 turns.

and maybe you could find some way to keep it alive long enough to be useful in the competitive scene. like in a double battle or something. I’m sure there’s a way.

but grinding the elite 4 for exp... this thing isn’t going to stand a chance against any of those pokemon

it can’t fight

it’s going to be dead weight in my party that I can train only by using the exp share, all the way up to level 91

and I’m still gonna go through the effort of training for it because I just know some bastard is gonna put up a super-rare shiny on the GTS and ask for a level 100 regigigas in return

Sometimes I like to battle with my shinies just so people are jealous of them.

I'm so mad! I caught a Polywrath and then it didn't show up with my other Pokemon! It shows up in my journal and pokedex but not with my other Pokemon! Ugggh it had at least 1000+ CP!
