It was such a waste to keep Pokemon in their Pokeballs, but being chased by a Snorlax who was keen on handing out hugs if he wasn't eating or sleeping wasn't his ideal way of spending the afternoon. Mt. Silver was a great place to train, but even with six Pokemon by his side, it got lonely. Besides, Charizard had made it quite clear that snow wasn't his cup of tea and today he would spend it on the open field.
Hours later he decided it would be a better idea to find a place that provided food for both him and his team, thus five of the six were returned to their Pokeballs, Pikachu remaining by his side. Instead of waiting, the yellow Pokemon decided it was his time to take the lead and he sprinted off into the distance, it's small black nose picking up a scent he couldn't resist. "Hold on!" said the red eyed boy, quickly chasing the electric-type Pokemon only to find out that- "Oh no.."
There was a trainer in the distance, a female one, and from what he could see she was holding a berry; one that Pikachu was particularly interested in. The Pikachu swiftly jumped on the stranger's shoulder and greeted her happily, eyeing the berry. "Sorry!" came Red's voice when he caught up with his pokemon, feeling slightly awkward now. He wasn't one to initiate a conversation, and especially not like this "I hope he didn't startle you.."
