Norman is the biggest asshole out of all the gym leaders in Hoenn. Sometimes he challenges you with two Slakings and a Vigoroth and then has the nerve to give you a badge called “Balance” if you win.

I heard in the treehouse that they will be limiting Pokemon to only the Galar region dex. Now, I can understand limiting Megas and Z-moves, as they keep something unique to the region for people to look back on (also X and Y still sell for 40 dollars at my local target, so money could also be a factor). I can also understand limiting the Dex to make capturing them all more feasible.

However, removing the ability to use Pokemon not in the Galar dex seems to be a step too far. Balancing that many Pokemon is hard, yes, but even if you dont want to go to the effort of creating higher polygon models with better bit-maps, there are already usable models and the fan community has already been making it's own rules for battling to help balance. You try to get a game out every year, but of course more time needs to be taken for bigger and more stunning projects. We will be fine if you spend 3-6 more months, maybe even another year, letting it brew. Maybe more interesting ideas can come from it and it could lower some of the crunch time. This is one part, however, you cannot cut without negative reactions from long term fans. Unless myself and others are misinterpreting what you are saying, of course, but there is only so much some fans can let slide.
