Up until Generation VII, the Pokémon Delibird only learned one attack naturally; a unique signature attack called Present, which can either deal damage or heal the opposing Pokémon randomly. If the random effect is healing, the target will regain 1/4 of its full HP, while if it causes damage, it can have a base power of 40, 80, or 120. The most likely effect by percentage is 40 power damage, which happens 40% of the time when the attack is used. Delibird is also probably based on a combination of a rockhopper penguin, a puffin, and the mythical real-life figure of Santa Clause.
