ANYWAY. i wanted to redesign my fanregion's gym leaders and their ace fanpokemon so. here they are.

Tell me everything about Jo! What's her story and how did she end up in the traffic cone pineapple gang? ^^

Theres alot about her an her story that may seem confusing but i'll try to be as straight forward as can be!^^

So Jo is a decendant of the Warborne and Kans adoptive daughter. (She was given to him by Walkier) and was raised in the Beramuda Region (yes fanmade and yes based on the bermuda triangle) and lived there for most of her youth.

The older she got the harsher Kans training became, making them drift apart.

Since the warborne arent human, Kan didnt believe in emotions or any of her feelings and solely focused on strength and power, wanting Jo to be the heir to the throne of the Warborne.

Jo didnt want that, she was an ignorant child and believed in a purpose besides fighting for the sake of humanity.

Once Kan and her got in a final arguement about their existence, he vanished from the face of the earth leaving Jo to fend for herself. She decided to go out of her way and travel to seek Walkier (creator and mother to all warborne) and demand answers.

After her and Ginkgo (her chesnaught) found multiple ancient cave paintings and artifacts in other regions she ended up looking further and landed in Orre, she knew that Orre had a high criminal record but that didnt stop her from seeking the truth about herself.

The people of Orre knew about the warborne and their purpose of shielding humanity, but after years of crimes and violence the locals stopped believing in the good of them and painted them as neglegtfull and powerhungry murderers, they set up signs as warnings of them years before. (usually in high crime rate areas)

The signs set focus on the warbornes eyes mostly spreading caution to the local folks of Orre.

Jo has them too and hides them behind her goggles mostly.

She met Tony first (Trudly and Folly's boss in the manga) at the outskirts stand in an attempt to seek shelter from a sandstorm.

They got to know eachother quite well and he invited her to come along and join their crew, and even though Jo was majorly against a life of crime she knew that trying to fend for herself in the middle of a deserted region was futile on her part so she caved and went along.

back at their hideout at some old abandoned factory, she met the duo for the first time, it didnt really take long for them to grow close since they were the closest thing to a family she has yet to have.

Trudly was the first she grew close to since Folly wasnt too interested nor impressed by her at first but after alot of bickering he gave in and warmed up to her.

Jo and Folly i'd say have more of a sibling type of relationship while she and Trudly are more like besties.

i don’t think i ever shared her here

Her name is Trudy, and she’s a roaming NPC who randomly changes location every in-game day, found in the routes during the day and in the Pokèmon Centers during the night. When you meet her she will offer you three Pokèmon trade, one of which is usually one that evolves via trading, because she says she’d like to test out new Pokèmon. If either your Pokèmon or hers trade, she will challenge you to a fight! Winning a battle with her starts her sidequest, and I’ll write more about it under read more because you get to know more about her but also. It’s long ansdff 

the first meeting is mandatory in Serra, the third town in the Gym tournament in my and @cindersalad‘s fanregion. While you don’t have to trade something with her if you don’t want to, especially since she offers you a Route One Pokèmon, from that moment you can start finding her around.

Winning a battle with her makes her download a little app on your PokèPhone, that allows you to see where she might be at night.

After five trades, she will start commenting about wanting five Pokèmon she doesn’t really remember the name of. She will describe one, and then the next one once you give her the next.

Everytime you give her one of those Pokèmon she will immediately add them to her Team and battle you. From now on, every battle will be against the Pokèmon you traded with her and the ones she requested, until she gets a team of six.

After two requested Pokèmon, she will start make smalltalks about how her memory isn’t the best. She will also say that she has a Pokèmon at home - “Or, well… I guess it was my home? The guys there allowed me to stay there when they found me!” - closed into a weird Pokèball, but she doesn’t use it because it gives her very weird vibes, for some reason.

At five she will also say she isn’t very fond of Bug types, especially “those long fast ones, or those bulky red ones… Ugh, how are they called again…?”

Finally, at six Pokèmon, she will tell you to meet her at her place. She waits for you to give you that weird Pokèball she has - not as a trade, but as a gift for making her so happy! She isn’t sure why, but she really thinks the Pokèmon you brought to her were meant to be hers all along, and in return she gives you this one, since she thinks it’s very rare and suits a good catcher like you much better! The Pokèmon is a Cosmog!!
