Playing gen 9 with a friend is whack. We were in the crater, in the same general area of it, and managed to catch each other's version exclusives. My Slither Wing has me as the Original Trainer, for example. And my friend has an Iron Thorns with her as the Original Trainer

Idea for a Pokemon multiplayer thing

So it would be like Hide and Seek Pokemon style. It wouldn't be MMO or anything, you'd still need friendcodes and all that crap. You and like 5 others can go to someone else's game Animal Crossing style. One person picks a spot anywhere in the game and then can't leave that route/city/cave. The others have to go around looking for them, and there's an NPC in every Pokemon Center that gives vague hints about where they are, like "I saw someone who said he was heading to play in the swamp". And there could be extra options like "No HMs" and "Random Battle On/Off". And then when the person's found they have to battle.
