Hi, former pathways dev here. So, I've got some TERRIBLE news about the ol' "pathways devs aren't racist/transphobic/homophobic" post because the lead dev was all 3. Most of the dev team absolutely got out of dodge upon learning this. Music team is gone and is demanding their stuff be removed, art team bailed too. Game MAY be dead thanks to Born and his friend group. In better news, all of the devs who aren't tolerating his bullshit are working on better projects. Both of the music people are LGBTQ+ and work on pkmn hacks both small and large, and a LOT of the music team is on the same boat, and are prepping to work on a bunch of other projects atm, so I'd highly advise supporting them.

Long and weary sigh.

I figured something went down with one of the more recent announcements on the discord being "Lot of people left for one reason or another." But cause I literally only looked at the announcements and Alpha Test channels. I didn't know what he was referring to.

Would appreciate some form of proof of what your saying, like screenshots of people saying that is why they left or just screenshots of Born actually doing what ya said.

With how often this seems to crop up with indie devs, I can believe it. But I prefer proof before I decide to never even look at Pokemon Pathways ever again.

Entertainer: (Normal, Fairy, Electric) A neutral, charm-based class that specializes in sound-based moves, dancing moves, and status effects. Has traits of a luminary and bard, with specifically idol and cheerleader aesthetics. Besides boosting the power of sound and dance moves, the entertainer class also revolves around inflicting status conditions and debuffs- often paralysis, infatuation, or lowering the accuracy of their opponent.

The mentor for the Entertainer role; Slater is a Pokemon Coordinator and idol from the Hoenn region, who had undergone training in the Unova region. He’s a rising star who works solo as recommended by his management- and though he seems to be a picture perfect idol, the expectations placed upon him by his management and audience seem to be weighing him down a bit. Nonetheless, he persists, staying quiet and sinking his true self under the sea- unless it's to sing his songs. Perhaps his songs hold his true feelings?

Surprisingly a docile and grounded individual, despite his status- though, he may not be fond of the attention at all when he’s off the stage. He’s often by himself in the gardens, or by the beach. Very rarely, he might be by himself in the auditorium or near the staircase of the theater club.

His ace Pokemon is Audino, who he performs with.

I forgot to take screenshots oops. I was a bit sad that Akiza brushed me off bc she thought I was a square (well, it's true but still!) but after investigating some ghosts with Yariette and Hyun and that other guy we've upgraded into kinda friends.

Her dialogue even changed too! Now she talks to me like she wants to sse me rise up from being such a square lol and even cheered for me after winning a fight at the dojo (I did NOT know that would have an interaction--woah!)

I can't wait to see how the rest of the game turns out and im finally getting used to the energy-interactions system, it's actually pretty cool! Since I forget to SS often, maybe I should just do after-play doodles instead? Or a kinda mix aaaah
