I wanted to capture the magic of the Kalos region during the "Golden Hour." There’s something so nostalgic about the way the Prism Tower lights up against an orange and purple sky.

In this piece, Serena is taking a quick break from her Master Class training to share a homemade Pink Macaron. I really wanted to focus on the bond between her and her team, so I included Fennekin and Sylveon to show that "Performers" are never truly alone.

Since I have a vacation, I decided to draw my favorite characters. One of them is Monsieur Pierre from Pokemon XY(Z).

And then THIS surreal frame from the episode where he was arranging a dance party and standing next to Elle popped up in my memory. He always looked kinda tall next to other characters (mostly performers), but in this episode the hight difference is most noticeable.

And I wondered: "How tall is this skyscraper?"

So, I decided for the sake of interest and future reference to find his approximate height, relying on the canon height of the Mahoxy (Delphox).

Aligning the height of all three characters in the place where Elle is, dividing the height of her pokemon into 5 equal parts and doing a simple math - I got the results.

229,5 cm ( 7′5′’), huh?

So I was very, very VERY disappointed by the crappy techno music used for the English dub of Serena's final performance. DoriDori is honestly the ONLY song that fits her performance, and the song used in the English dub is just... just terrible. It lacks the energy of DoriDori and doesn't fit at all. It makes Serena's performance look boring and less impressive. They could have used an instrumental of DoriDori, or, if we were very very lucky, an English dub of DoriDori.
