Some random fanart

Okay I used some base sprites from https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/national and looked at some references to create the stuff below.

This is a bare Hope glaceon which is Hope as the form of a glaceon who belongs to @iamyour-hope.

This is Reason in the form of a ninetales. Reason belongs to @iamyourreason which isn’t tagging? So either I don’t remember the typing correctly or it was deleted. So back up to @ask-sky-rimedy-and-family since she’s the same mod of the reason blog, so belongs to her.

Here’s Doubt in the form of ekans, who belongs to @iamyourdoubt

This one is Sparky the shinx shiny who belongs to @iamyourdoubt as well.

Nalusa is at least a mismagius and I want to think is also part banette. The reference picture had the dreamcatcher slightly cut off, but I assume it’s supposed to be whole feathers on it. He belongs to Doubt as well.

I also left a version of Nalusa without the zippers and head point. I cut off the bottom of dreamcatcher since maybe that is how it’s actually supposed to look.

Why did I leave a version of Nalusa like that? Well since I like how that looks too and why not?

I assume it’s okay to make pixel fanart for each of them, but I don’t mind editing the post if any of the owners would prefer that wasn’t there. I love Nalusa’s design. This random decision to do this I feel helps me learn how to do pixel art a little better and maybe I’ll reach a point where I don’t need to use bases from sites since I worry about using them.

Oh and I would like to get some asks to make sprite versions of some of peeps’ pokemons, this is pretty fun to do.

A lot of loyal Pokemon Gen 1 followers say things like “it was better when there were only 150 Pokemon, now they’re getting weird” and “the newer Pokemon designs don’t seem like Pokemon”. But come on, the Generation 1 Pokemon designs were ridiculous, I mean, look at this crap:
