PokePride Adopts

Some proper pride art for pride instead of just drawing my various LGBT+ Characters. Harlowe and Pepper, my two Pokemon Adopt girls showing their pride! I decided since they're both adopts they're both GFs. And since they're my OCs that's exactly what they'll be!!

The Pokemorph setting takes place at a point in the future of the main games’ timeline. By this point, characters like Blue and Red are in their mid 30′s. Meanwhile, other characters, such as Prof. Oak, have since passed on.

It truly is a shame, as among anybody, Prof. Oak would have been the most amazed and intrigued by the concept of Pokemorphs, as his life was spent studying how Pokemon and Humans interacted with each other. Pokemorphs would have been something he would have liked to learn more about.

one thing i did want to ask re: morphic was if you knew of any GOOD pokemorph fics that do play things mostly straight regarding genre tropes and such, because right now i'm in the "beginner madoka fan" spot of having consumed and enjoyed the deconstruction without actually firsthand experiencing anything of the genre it's deconstructing

Unfortunately I'm in the even more awkward spot of having written the deconstruction while having barely any firsthand experience of what it's deconstructing! I wrote it after reading several forum threads discussing Pokémorph fanfics and their pitfalls back and forth; I'd previously had the seed of an idea for the story based on an article about advances in genetics and what the future might hold, while the discussions made me realize my idea would be pretty different from the norm, which motivated me to start actually writing it. But the only one I actually read myself was a long-lost one that died after maybe two chapters, before it got to start doing all that much with the concept.

I can recommend you Different Eyes, which is a bit unusual in involving Pokémon being transformed into morphs by a shady organization rather than human children, but is very good! And unfortunately this version is also only a prologue and two chapters in at the moment, but it's not dead. (Full disclosure: the author is a friend.)
