*combat rolls into the scene, tossing in a Corwin/Pokeri for 5 Ship Scenarios before tumbling back into the abyss*
1. Pokeri bragging about Masu. Like how pretty and great and kind and etc. she is to Corwin everyday, but instead of making Corwin like Masu more, he starts liking Pokeri. He thinks, ‘Wow, Pokeri’s a really good friend. I think she talks about Masu more than she ever does herself. Anyone who loves their friends that much must be a really sweet person.’
So one day he steels his nerves and goes 100% dork, and gives her a letter.
“Hey, could ya’ read over this for me? It’s for Masu. Wanna make sure it sounds alright.”
/of course, thinking it’s a love letter to Masu Pokeri’s like ‘YES GIMME I’LL HELP YOU FRIEND’ but it’s actually just a very casual letter like ‘Hey what’s up? Got any plans next week? Make sure you lock your window when you’re done people-watching.’ etc. Until at the very bottom of the letter there’s a small note.
“PS. I’m in love with Pokeri. Think she’d say yes to a date?”
2. Corwin leaving to go with Pokeri on her long distance trips/missions- no, not because he’s overprotective or thinks she can’t handle herself. She totally can. She’s badass. But because he’s always wanted to see the world, and the only thing that would make it even better would be seeing it with her.3. When he doesn’t go with Pokeri, he’s visiting Masu’s place every day. Acting as though he’s simply ‘checking up on her’. You know, since she can get ill and is there alone (sans Onibi and Eliza of course). “No suspicious people around? Okay cool. Nobody givin’ ya’ any trouble? Cool, okay. Nice. So, um, Pokeri send any word ‘bout when she’s comin’ back yet?” Masu begins tallying up how many times Corwin comes over until Pokeri gets back. Amari and Masu take bets over how many times it’ll be.4. Though they don’t really fight over food anymore /after living together the couple has learned how to portion their meals so neither of them are hungry afterwards/, Corwin is not above starting a literal food fight just for fun. Yeah, it makes a mess, and he doesn’t really like messes, but the laughs they have while hurling spoonfuls of mashed potatoes at the other’s face is so worth the two hours of cleanup afterwards.5. Corwin being a hardcore romantic and Pokeri never sees it coming from him until it’s too late. “You’re beautiful. You’re amazing. You’re perfect.” Of course with every sweet compliment and loving phrase that makes Pokeri blush, Corwin is just as red. If you’re so embarrassed why are you saying it, Corwin??? Answer: because whether it’s cheesy or not, every little thing he says to her he believes to be 100% irrevocably true.
