I love to eat, but sometimes not taking a picture is too hard. #PokeLyfe
Pokeworks, 2400 E Chapman Ave, Suite b, Fullerton, CA 92831
I was pleasantly surprised by Pokeworks. The signature bowls have complementary flavors but are still customizable. You can choose your base (brown rice, white rice, salad mix, noodles) and level of sauce. Or you can build your poke from scratch, choosing the form (bowl, burrito, or salad) and size (small, regular, or large), pick your protein, add mix-ins, choose your sauces, add toppings & crunch. They also have Hawaiian hot plates, sides, desserts, and drinks.
Spicy ahi small poke bowl (1 scoop of ahi tuna, cucumber, sliced onion, edamame, Sriracha Aioli flavor, masago, green onion, sesame seeds, onion crisps, shredded nori served over brown rice and salad mix), $12.95. The bowl looked nicely assembled. He mixed the sauce with the ahi (light dressing). The scoops of brown rice and ahi were generous. Everything tasted fresh and not too heavy or salty. There were different textures and flavors.
The interior was bright and clean. Service was excellent.
To save time, you can order online. They also have a rewards program. This was one of the better poke bowls that I’ve had.
