One of the things about my Control + Dead Space crossover idea that I’m kinda having trouble on is how Isaac would’ve ended up in the Oldest House or how Jesse would’ve ended up in the Dead Space universe.

I could go down the route of Jesse going down a mysterious path in a part of the Oldest House and finding Isaac in either the Investigations sector or the Research sector. Or Isaac could be on either the Ishimura, Tau Volantis or the Sprawl and hearing a low hissing noise and the sound of its chant and, before he could be taken by it, Polaris could step in and guide him to Jesse. Or the Marker signal could feel threatened by the Hiss and want it gone.

There’s a lot of routes I could use but the other thing holding me back is that I’m not a very good writer.

Feel free to expand upon this crossover AU if y’all want to! Just wanted to get this thought out there. Sorry if this sounds like insane rambling, btw. I was really tired when I wrote this and just wanted to get this written down before I forgot.
