sure he's no professional but he exceeded my expectations and actually does something with the pole instead of just grinding against it 👏

I hate him 😭 took me a while to get that one and not yet from the ground up... I can only do it from the previous position (but his execution is still pretty wobbly unclean that's my only consolation)

I'm hesitant

I been dreaming about starting pole dance since 2016, but I never dared beyond asking. Never actually starting; not even a first class. Pole dance or aerial hoop, silks, acrobatics... anything like that. I never exercise since I graduated highschool (2015) and I'm overweight, so I'm very insecure about that aspect (now add anxiety and A LOT of overthinking).

Anyone that could give me a motivational advice? Tips to lose weight? Practice elongation? Control anxiety or self deprecating thoughts? Give me a peace of bravery pls 😭

I really want to try, and experience that sensation of flying, to feel confident and good with myself.
