Calling all Pole Sisters!
So I attended my second pole class last night, and I keep getting stuck in the same frustrated mind loop while in class.
I was really struggling with my spins, I couldn’t wrap my head around moving my legs the way the instructor was moving them. She would try to explain to me how to do it, but it was like my mind put up a wall that I couldn’t do what she was doing...so my body refused.
It didn’t help that the other girl who was in class with me was doing great spins, but of course she had been struggling like I was in the class before and she said I would get it eventually.
I know the pole “knows no size”, but I can’t help feeling like I’m too big or just not strong enough for this.
Does anyone have any tips as far as spinning and actually getting your legs off the ground (like for a sit and swirl, but with legs switching off the ground)?
Please help if you can!
