“Would Enlarge Police Board,” Toronto Globe. December 6, 1918. Page 09. ---- Motion Held Over for Consideration by City Council --- Enlargement of the Police Commission and a drastic change in its clientele is proposed in a motion by Alderman Sykes, seconded by Controller Robbins, which was handed to the City Clerk at yesterday’s meeting, but held over for consideration.
After claiming that the present method of appointing Magistrates and Judges as commissioners was anticipated, the resolution reads:
‘Be it resolved that a memorial be prepared by the City Solicitor and forwarded to the Ontario Legislature asking that the act be amended in accordance with the above, and that the Commission be composed of five members, viz. the Mayor ex officio, one a representative of organized Labor, one representative citizen who is a member of the Board of Trade, one member of the City Council not a controller, and one by the Ontario Legislature.’

Un nom à coucher en prison, déjà, mais surtout un goût pour l’autoflagellation sentimentale et les riffs punk-rock 80’s qui cadrent difficilement avec nos réalités virtuelles. Pourtant, aussi sûr que la science des filles reste un vrai casse tête alors que celle des maths ne laisse aucune part d’ombre, force est de constater que ces deux parisiens font de ces soi-disant faiblesses une force motrice, et moins + moins = plus, invariablement. Car en plus d’être de fins artisans pop, il ne ressemblent finalement à pas grand monde quand on y pense. À pas grand monde d’encore vivant en tout cas.
