Last night before bed Eva said to me that we hadn't done any crafts for ages, and she would like to do something with our confetti snow. 😊 So this morning I've cut out circles from white paper, carrot noses from the orange one, and Eva used a paper punch to make the tiny circles for eyes and buttons. Our newest creation 😊 Decorative Christmas jars 🤩 My husband always laughs at me for keeping empty coffee jars and never using them again. 😜🙈 Well I just found a use for them. 😁😁😁 What we used: • small jars • confetti snow • dried lemon 🍋 slices • cinnamon sticks • artificial flowers • ribbons • bells Pretty much everything I found in Pound shop. I love how they look, and how easy it is to make them. REMEMBRANCE DAY - the day when we thank those who gave their lives so we can live ours. ❤ For me it's not only the end of the WW1 but also Polish Independence Day 🇵🇱 In school children were making poppies, as it's a symbol of remembrance, and we decided to do them at home as well. Good Morning on Monday❣ Today I'd like to show you what we've done this weekend. 😁 We officially started our winter/Christmas crafts, and the first thing we've made are those beautiful Christmas lights. What do you need: • PVA clear glue • colourful tissue paper • Stickers and glitter (optionally) • led lights - just a short string, 10 lights, running on batteries ❤ I've hot mine from Pound shop • paintbrush for the glue • jar - I used empty coffee jars First using paintbrush cover the jar with glue. Choose colour of a tissue paper, and rip it into small pieces. Cover the jar with those pieces, and don't worry if some parts are sticking out. When your jar is covered and colourful take your paintbrush and glue and go over the whole thing again, smoothing out bits of tissue paper that didn't stick to the jar. Now you can leave it to dry, or decorate it with stickers and glitter. TIP: stickers first then glitter, because they won't stick on properly if you use glitter first. 😊 Dry your jar, you can just leave it to dry, but I used my hair dryer. 🙃 And the last thing - put in the led lights. I used tape to stick them around inside the jar, but they'll be fine just sitting on the bottom. And that's it! Halloween and Bonfire night are gone, so everyone starts to feel more wintery, especially since the weather outside is grey and cold...🧥 I'd like to remind you that it's still autumn, and show you that beautiful wreath me and Eva made a couple days ago. 🍁🍂 I've cut out shapes of leaves using free templates I've found on the Internet. Then I've cut washing up sponges in to smaller pieces. We chose autumnal colours of paints, and painted our leaves using sponges. Well, I did... Eva used her fingers 😅 you can see how we've done it in the previous post. 😊 Then I've cut out the middle of plain paper plate, and we've glued the leaves around the edges. Big day today❣❣❣ We went to see nanna Jean first time since July 2020! Unfortunately she had to shield through the pandemic, so we couldn't go with a visit for a very long time... At the beginning Eva was all shy, and stayed on my knees, but a short walk and an ice cream later she was all happy and chatting away. 🤩 In the end she promised nanna she'll be back very soon, and fell asleep in a car on the way home.
