It’s hard to remember a time when we weren’t friends, but only three years ago that was the case! I found Marci (itsenchantingtomeetyou) one sunny, seemingly-unremarkable day when I was still living in Australia in 2014 and our mutual love for Taylor Swift took our friendship from there. I lived in Australia and she lived in Poland, so it seemed unlikely we could ever be real life friends...but when I got frustrated with life in Australia, I spontaneously bought a one way plane ticket to go and live in London. It’s a less than two hour plane ride to Poland from London, so you can imagine it was my highest priority to go there as soon as I could to meet Marci, which I did. It’s been the best thing ever to have such an amazing online friendship turn into a real life one, and now our ultimate dream will come true in 2018 when we get to go to Wembley to see Taylor together on the 23rd of June! I can't really express how unimaginable that seemed when I first sent Marci a letter and a set of 1989 polaroids in December 2014, that we could actually go to a Taylor show together...but that is what will happen!
So I guess I made this blog today, so that we can try and get Taylor to find out we’re coming, so we can celebrate together the best three years ever and of course, tell her thank you in advance for all the years to come!
