@politeyeti i agree!!! i definitely felt like they were intended to be canonically nonbinary and not just "a person with a confusing presentation," it just seemed like the bit with the pulling off the nurse's mask was a little nasty

I think also it is more fun to play complicated anti-heros but it's more fun to watch imperfect heros - they seem to be having a good time, but VM were generally kind even in hijinks and I don't like mean people very much

This kind of sums up my feelings, too. I don’t think the M9 mean to be mean, but they come off that way a lot. I guess my humor just isn’t aligning with the cast’s this campaign. *shrug*

They definitely do go together. They call it The Trifecta when you have EDS, POTS and MCAS because it’s so often a package deal.

Want to know the fun reason I don’t have an MCAS diagnosis? Quoting my doctor: “There isn’t an allergist in NHS Lothian, so there’s not really anyone I can refer you to.”

I love the NHS, but NHS Lothian in particular is spectacularly shitty in a lot of areas.

I think they're the same universe because Alex comes on Tanis sometimes and Nic talks about her a LOT

He even mentions Alex on a break, but that would mean they’re much more professional and compartmentalized about each other than they are about their own shows. I mean, one of them goes into a the woods after an unknowable cabin and the person running a show about demon doors opening up on earth doesn’t mention it? The person dealing with weird shadowy animal-headed figures in the woods and traveling to areas with different stars doesn’t mention his partner’s show where they deal with shadow people and bi-location? IDK it’s just so odd to me that they’re so separated but still mentioned. Just so casually.

As if on Tanis, Tanis is real and not myth and on TBTP, the supernatural is real and not myth. It just seems like a huge research oversight if that makes sense? But I guess suspension of belief covers that.
