Reasoning: Issues to consider: Tabitha, while responsible, is quite messy, as is her mother. Stella can be a bit reckless, and was already doing monster hunting videos in middle school. Stella does a lot of cooking, and might get the egg mixed up. Both have pets: Getchen the pug might think the egg was for her, and Frou-frou the cat might break it for fun. Tabitha's mother will probably tell her it's a waste of time, but if the egg breaks she'll definitely be mean about how she can't even look after an egg, so no matter what it's going to be stressful for Tabitha.

Reasoning: Riz really wants to succeed at the assignment but is also chronically sleep-deprived. Fig is a dropout who never attended any of her main classes, but definitely wouldn't deliberately sabotage her friends. Fabian should not be trusted with that egg. Gorgug is very hyper-aware of how easily he could crush the egg and would try to construct the safest possible container for it. Kristen "4 Dexterity" Applebees *really* shouldn't be trusted with that egg. Just leave it with Adaine, she can probably handle it.
