Could you do an ot7 drabble where they believe in some false rumors or something and then they leave you, with mucho angst and maybe a resolution at the end?
anon: Mafia ot7 with "Are you here to yell at me too? I deserve it." And "This isn't your fault okay? I promise."
“Are you here to yell at me too?” You asked, voice timid and soft as you saw Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin approaching you with light steps. “I deserve it,” you said, a sullen and defeated look on your face as you looked down, wanting to cry but decided to hold the tears back.
“This isn’t your fault okay? I promise,” Jimin prompted as he placed both his hands on your shoulders, face crumbled with concern.
“They don’t believe me.” You shook his hands away, refusing to even look up at them. You were tired, so tired. All you wanted was to rush home — well, find another home since you’ve been kicked out — and cry yourself to sleep.
It wouldn’t solve anything but what was there to do when your own boss wouldn’t believe you?
“We’ll try to convince Namjoon, he’s just-”
“Give it up, Taehyung,” you sighed, “I’ve tried all afternoon. Boss Kim isn’t listening.”
“Y/N, no,” the man shook his head furiously, “It isn’t Taehyung, it’s Tae.”
“And it isn’t Boss Kim, it’s Namjoon,” Jungkook said.
“Why does it even matter anymore,” you lamented as you took out your guns out of your pocket to hand it over to Jimin, “I’m out.”
You tried to force a smile, a tight bitter smile. Yet despite it all, looking back into those eyes, the eyes you’ve always found yourself falling for each passing day, the ones that were looking back into yours with tears of stress and grief, of not wanting to believe it, you knew it had been a bad idea to look up.
“I’m sorry for disappointing you,” you looked at each one of them, “Park, Kim, Jeon. Maybe fate will let us cross paths again. At least once.”
“Send my regards to the other four,” your eyes fell, “though I’m sure they wouldn’t be too happy about that.”
And then, they watched you walk out of headquarters one last time. Though each of them wanted to pull you back again, apologize to try and make things right again, they knew they were in no position to do so. Not when their hyungs weren’t going to listen.
There was no sign of you when they got back to the house. Everything was gone. Your clothes, jewelries, makeup, shoes...everything that should have been there was gone.
It was like you never existed in the first place.
And finally, it felt real to the maknaes. They wanted to deny the reality, to try and find at least something that would remind them of you but there was nothing.
The hyungs on the other hand, although heartbroken, were far too angry and blinded to see through it all.
“You can’t just cut her off like that!” Jungkook shouted, frustrated and upset because they had lost you. “We made her a promise, hyung. We promised her a life of a beautiful future, with all of us in it, promised her that nothing could ever come between us yet you-”
“What part of betrayal do you not understand?” Jin shot back, eyes glaring at the maknae because even the topic itself made him want to vomit and to forget it all. How could you betray them? Didn’t you loved them as you had vowed?
“She should be thankful we’re sparing her life.”
“How can you believe in such a ridiculous thing?” Taehyung scoffed at Yoongi. He couldn’t believe it. Were they really going to go against you like that?
“We’ve been together for years, how can you trust someone else’s words over hers?” Jungkook gave them all a pointed look, nose flaring with anger while his eyes stung with bloodshot tears.
“No, you don’t understand,” Jimin snapped at Hoseok, the frustrations building up all over again. “Y/N would never do such a thing. You can’t just throw her away and act as if none of those years back then had ever mattered.”
“Then where is she now?” Namjoon’s voice boomed against the large room. He stood up from his seat, a brow quirked as he challenged the three maknaes, standing tall and firm. “Why isn’t she trying to defend her honor?”
A moment of silence passed through them all. Yet despite Namjoon’s scoffing, despite the four of them getting up to leave, the youngest three weren’t going to believe in the rumors surrounding you.
“Because she’s hurt,” Taehyung whispered, his voice low and soft but they could all hear him, and their steps were paused in place.
“She’s tired.” Jungkook’s jaws clenched, his hands fisting into a ball just thinking about having lost you.
“And quite honestly,” Jimin breathed. He swallowed the lump in his throat, refusing to cry in front of them yet the crack in his voice alerted them all, “I’m sure you’ve broken her.”
