- i think there's an element of familiarity that comes with being in a relationship with them. even after all they've been through, after blackwatch, after coming back to join with the new blood, they're still really comfortable around each other. i think their partner will slowly "get" the little inside jokes that they sprinkle in their speech, and eventually the three of them will come to make new ones together.
- of course, their pasts aren't sunshine and roses. both of them will have their bad days, as all people do, but what helps is that they know that the ones closest to them will always be there for them.
- cassidy would be an absolutely insufferable alpha. his hands are always on his partners, whether it's just holding hands, or putting a hand on their thigh while they're on the road, or maybe even playing with their hair or loose bits of clothing. i feel like touch probably comforts him a lot.
