kinning from a source with a fandom that has a major anti-poly stigma is so annoying because like. yea you can have opinions on ships or whatever but i can't even begin to talk about my old relationships and memories with them without the fear of getting flamed for it. even if i talk/draw about my relationships in a non kin pov, the risk of me being harassed is the same if not higher because that's just how the fandom is.
the fact of the matter was that in my timeline my quartet (whom i miss very much) was also part of a larger polycule of some interconnected relationships and i just miss how close we all were. i want to be able to express this in one way or another but the nature of the fandom just doesn't make me feel safe to do it.
