It's not great but it was fun, other view and artistic thoughts below (I know he's aroace I just enjoy this concept and dynamic)

Other view

I definitely think I'll stick to trichromatic works but it was nice to try more colors again. I typically stick to mechanical pencils as my main medium but lately I've been branching out into colored pencil against my better judgment.

I mostly need to improve on hands and proportions in terms of the actual art but I need to work on my mentality of continuing to add onto a drawing until I don't enjoy it anymore. I have a habit of adding too much, in this piece I added the blue pieces on the exterior but I think I would've been more satisfied with my work if I'd just posted it as it was.

My illustration for the TTRPG Mothership: The Conduit

They wanted a pin-up sexy surgeon who runs a intergalactic surgery clinic. I thought it would be fun and a little chaotic to have the team floating in zero gravity with their tools.

Also re: Ao3: it's gonna be fine.

Livejournal would get DDoS'd all the damn time in the late 2000s, especially once the Russians truly took over. It was frustrating as hell but a DDoS attack is absolutely not the same as, like, getting hacked or something. You're not very likely to lose data during a DDoS attack. Fear not! (Plus the mods and admins and all are on it.)

Livejournal used to have this goat for their mascot so when it would go down for the millionth time while we were trying to RP with each other, we'd just send each other this gif on AIM:
