NICE!!!!! i love this 100% headcanon accepted..... i feel like ryland and gabe put a lot of their stuff in there because their clothes are so big and snuggly for everyone else to wear. also imagine ryland and gabe trying to wear everyone else’s stuff (especially halvo and nate) and it just looks so hilariously small on them

who cooks in polycobra? They must have multiple freezers to hold enough food for all 7 of them like those families with tons of kids.

well alex is the trained chef of course so i feel like he’s usually the head chef/meal planner in the polycobra household! victoria, nate, and gabe are all glad to help him do whatever needs doing but they generally need him to tell them what to do first.

andy’s never been big on cooking but once he joins the big gay family they find out pretty quickly that he has a natural gift at it and so alex kind of takes andy under his wing as a cooking apprentice-- andy’s a little embarrassed and shy about it because he’s andy barr and shy is what he does, but he can’t deny he likes when alex stands behind him and holds his hand to guide him on proper knife technique.

and then ryland and halvo are kitchen disasters just waiting to happen so they generally just sit around and make jokes or tell stories to entertain everyone else while they wait for the food to be done

Imagine them trying to all 7 get in a selfie together so Gabe or ryland holds the phone with his long ass arm and Andy just mutters from the back "we need a damn selfie stick.."

andy and halvo start calling ryland selfie stick as a joke BUT THEN IT CATCHES ON WITH THE REST OF THEM and then whenever any of them are taking a photo and they need More Arm they just yell “IF ONLY MY SELFIE STICK WERE HERE” and then ryland begrudgingly comes over to help them with it. sometimes he just picks them up and holds them instead but nobody really minds

polycobra question: what are sleeping arrangements also who gets driver/shotgun in the car and who has to ride in the backseat?

ooh! during tours they generally all pile into the back lounge because There’s Just No Way they can all fit in the bunks and they’re all too gay and clingy to sleep without everyone else there too. usually either gabe and ryland will sleep on the outsides (bc they’re the biggest) and everyone else will squish in between them or else everyone forms a huge cuddle pile with gabe and ryland at the base (again, they’re the biggest.) sometimes ryland likes to lay on top of everyone else though but nobody really minds bc he’s so warm and cuddly. tbh i don’t picture them being very picky about who’s sleeping where as long as all of them are there together. arrangements are pretty much the same at home too-- everyone has their own bedroom for appearances but they all sleep in the bigass bed in gabe’s room.

driver varies but usually it’s alex, ryland, or victoria? nate has bad luck with cars and gabe always ends up getting distracted while he’s driving and then (in polycobra 2.0) everyone insists that andy and halvo are Children and thus cannot drive. ryland, alex, and vicky all tend to be pretty safe and levelheaded drivers so the three of them take turns doing it. generally there’s no call on shotgun it’s just a free-for-all so whoever gets there first gets the shotgun seat. (in polycobra 2.0 they end up getting a soccer mom-ass suv with three rows of seats because it’s the only way they can legally fit all 7 of themselves into one vehicle)

OK ADDING ONTO THIS KIDVERSE. BB!rylands friends snuck a horror movie from an older sibling/cousin and they're all watching it and ry gets so scared. He's hiding under a blanket has a comfort item maybe??? (I had a blanket growing up)

omg..... you guys are all so hung up on ryland getting scared.......... i support it though! i can see him carrying a blanket or some kind of stuffed animal around with him..... vicky and andy laugh goodnaturedly at him because they both love horror movies but halvo and alex aren’t super big on horror so they hang out under the blanket with ryland and hold his hands and stuff

hey could we talk about kid!polycobra, like they all met in elementary school or whatever and grew up together? you talked about it a few days ago and i loved it and i was wondering if you had anymore headcanons or whatever. i love your blog btw :)

oh of course! and i’m sorry for not answering your ask from earlier today it’s been kind of a wild day with me driving home to visit and stuff.

idk like? imagine them all getting crushes on each other in middle school and nobody really knowing what to do with it and like?? they’re all too young to have heard of polyamory so they all just kind of take turns dating each other trying to figure out what they actually want but of course no matter what dating combinations they try none of it really “works.” other people that aren’t in their friend group think it’s fuckin weird that they’re all passing each other around but the cobras have never been ones to care about what other people think

Imagine polycobra except merpeople. Vicky and Gabe are saltwater merpeople and Nate and Alex are freshwater and Ryland is tropical and they all like... End up in some enormous mountain lake via man-made rivers and shit and can't get home and work together to somehow all live in this climate that is not good for any of them and they end up with a system and they all love each other and Ryland has flashy silvery scales with a blue tint towards his fins and he's a little vain about it

NICE!!! i love this content it’s so cute....... i picture victoria having spines like a lionfish (if you’re not familiar they’re really beautiful saltwater fish and they have colorful spines but the spines are venomous)

extension of this au where halvo and andy are a couple who have decided to build a small rustic cabin at the mountain lake and one night they’re out by the lake chilling at a campfire or something and halvo’s just like “dude. fuckin mermaids” and andy is like “ok dear that’s nice” but then he looks over and there are actually indeed 5 merpeople staring at them inquisitively from the water. then they all end up bonding over the next several weeks until halvo and andy are inevitably brought into the relationship too

polycobra au where all of them have wings??

like having wings is not a Normal Thing at all and each of them think they’re the only winged person on the face of the earth and they all keep it hidden (ryland and alex know about each other’s wings bc they’ve known each other so long but that’s it)

but then one day nate accidentally forgets to put a shirt back on when he gets out of the shower and everyone just stares at him and he’s like ????? until he realizes his wings are out and he’s like FUCK ok look i can explain and suddenly everyone else is taking their shirts off too and showing off their wings

they all have a Moment for like 5 minutes and then ryland says it must be destiny or something and then gabe ruins the moment by saying birds of a feather really do flock together

from then on they all p much always have their wings out when they’re not onstage and they discover all the joys of living with fellow winged people (warm feathery cuddle piles, seeing who can knock over the most stuff with a single wing flap, grooming each other’s wings, etc)

after the split gabe, nate, and victoria are holding auditions for new members and one of the interview questions they have is “do you have wings” and most of the people trying out think it’s a joke but when they ask halvo he’s just like “haha shit how’d you know” and when they ask andy he gets suspiciously nervous about it but refuses to say anything. eventually nate gets fed up and shows off his own wings and then andy finally admits he has them too. gabe hires both of them then and there on principle

also: each of them having really different wing patterns/colors? like gabe has a flamingo or some kind of parrot from the amazon, ryland has bluejay’s wings and alex has a cardinal’s, nate’s are just brown and grey and really fluffy, victoria has a snowy owl’s, idk about halvo and andy but andy’s would probably be something unassuming like a robin or a sparrow
