new panty & stocking with garterbelt 1x11
These “plastivore” caterpillars can devour a plastic bag in just 24 hours
Plastics play a fundamental role in modern life, but their resistance to biodegradation makes them very difficult to dispose of. New research reveals how “plastivore” caterpillars can metabolically degrade plastics in a matter of days, not decades, and store them internally as body fat – but at what cost? In 2017, a groundbreaking study demonstrated that the caterpillars of the greater wax moth (Galleria mellonella), known as waxworms, can degrade polyethylene plastic. Polyethylene is the world’s most commonly manufactured plastic, with over 100 million tonnes of polyethylene produced globally each year. Polyethylene is chemically resilient, which makes it resistant to decomposition and can take decades or even hundreds of years to fully degrade.

Just a super quick sketch of these two goofballs. Maybe, if I find the time, I gonna draw a fully rendered image of them but the sketch will do for now~
God I love everything about these brats.
The boyz
I love school !!! Especially PE (polyethylene) !!!!
Idk how into panty&stocking you are but i think it's really interesting that ppl are always debating the meaning of both the angel and demon sisters' themes, but that is something that doesn't happen to the new angel brothers. And for good reason, since unlike the previous themes, where a "story" is told, their song is only about themselves.
My take on all of them has always been that it's a contrast between the songs and how they actually behave. From the most shallow (angels about a one night stand, wanting someone) of interpretations to the most elaborate (about being used for someone's own personal gains/controlling and possessive behavior to the person you want) of interpretations. The angel brothers, as they're younger and from a new generation, their theme reflects their personalities and their development as well. It's all self absorved, pure flex about how much better and cooler they are, wrapped around a "generic" electronic pop song with seemingly no substance besides that.
I know this is into "it ain't that deep" territory but fuck it i love over analyzing stuff 😂
*too busy vibing to it ngl*
It's pretty simple on it's face, the instrumentals reflect what the characters represent while the lyric represent their personalities. Fly Away is a brighter tone while being about physicality while I Want You is seedier while being about true love and genuine connection.
The Poly boys feel weaker simply because they don't have that direct contrast like the Anarchy sisters and Daemon sisters do. The whole joke is that they are painfully gen Z and full of themselves so the music reflects the new generation aspect while the lyrics touch on their vanity by declaring themselves divine. Both of which also lean into J-pop boy band vibes which is perfect for introducing a male duo to the series.
It's not as harsh of a contrast but it fits them perfectly since they are kind of a middle ground of the other two trios in terms of their vices and egos.
