i love it when the fandom thinks of another character that romantically gets in aemond's way bc he wants jace but keeps being an ass to him out of repressed feelings and a sense of duty to his mother, meanwhile the other character is just like?? *does the will smith hand motion at jace* pretty boy respectful dutiful great family instincts PRETTY? why would you ever pass up a chance with this
