Cross guild morning routines hc

★ This was very cozy to write, but I feel like it’s not that much to it really… My own morning routine is shit btw. I just roll out of bed, get dressed, do my makeup and leave… I drink my morning coffee in class.

Mihawk

He’s a night owl, and thus he stays up late and prefers to sleep in

Sometimes he stays up late enough to catch the first glimpse of the sun rising

When his schedule allows it, he prefers to sleep until noon, which is why his bedroom windows has thick drapes that won’t let any sunlight in

Feels like absolute garbage when he wakes up. His irregular sleep schedule often results in headaches, and he’s groggy and more short tempered

A candle lit bath with scented oils and a shave usually helps restoring his energy until he’s had his morning tea

He generally prefers tea when reading the newspaper in the morning, but later during the day he’ll rely on coffee. He takes a dash of milk, but no sugar

Not big on breakfast in the morning, but he’ll force himself to eat something light, like scrambled eggs with some herbs from his garden

He absolutely hates stressing, and will take his time getting ready for the day. If anyone has something to say about it, they’ll get a taste of Yoru

Buggy

Usually a pretty early riser without needing an alarm, but it depends on the night before and how hungover he is

His routine is chaotic and always changing depending on his mood. Sometimes he’s abnoxiously hyper in the morning and welcomes the day with a smile, and sometimes he has to be dragged out of bed by force

If he’s in the mood he does morning yoga

smells his armpit to determine if he can go without a morning shower and jump straight into styling his hair and outfit for the day

Drinks his morning ”coffee” while applying his makeup. It’s less coffee and more of a colorful sugary concoction that’ll lead to a massive sugar crash later on for sure

Prefers pastries for breakfast, and somehow he always ends up getting glitter on them, even if he doesn’t wear any that day…

Gets ready in a rush but never forgets to stack a few fresh buggy balls in his pockets

His room looks like the aftermath of a circus show every morning

Sir Crocodile

Wakes up at 6:00 sharp every morning

He clenches his jaw in his sleep so he usually wakes up with a headache (already has aspirin prepared on the nightstand, which he swallows dry)

His morning routine is practically non-existent as it quickly transitions into work, but even he has his morning rituals

He starts by opening a window to invite fresh morning air inside, and then he’ll quickly ruin that by indulging in his first cigar of the day

He’ll also clean and refill the water bowl for the birds that likes to come to his window

For a quick caffeine fix, he’ll usually grab an espresso on the go from the most expensive looking bar while taking a morning walk, and he’ll also purchase a newspaper during that time

He alway makes sure to stop by the bananagator enclosure

When he gets back, he’ll usually check the status on his partners, and if Buggy isn’t up by 8:00 sharp, he’ll drag him out by force

He tells himself he allows Mihawk to sleep in, but in reality not even Crocodile is brave enough to face the consequences of waking the swordsman from his slumber

crocodile and mihawk have a 3 hour conversation in italian and spanish respectively and after its done buggy goes so what did you talk about and NEITHER of them know what the other was saying

we’re making one piece posts after one piece posts today everybody, I’m into mishanks again because Crochawk has been taking over. But I’m also shipping them all together and then adding some. Mihawk with five wives (husbands) is what’s in my mind rn oh the perks of being a multishipper

I do this to work around the whole “how do I ship all these at the same time” and the solution is polyamory

which also exposes me to new and awesome rare pairs! I’ve taken my meds for the first time in four days so I’m a little excited

characters mentioned will be: Mihawk, Crocodile, Buggy, Shanks, Beckman and Rosinante!

aight so first we got polyguild (Mihawk x Crocodile x Buggy), and then there’s also Mishanks (Mihawk x Shanks), but there’s also the rarer ships with Mihawk I like which is corahawk (Rosinante x Mihawk) and beckhawk (Benn Beckman x Mihawk) which I hunt for all over ao3 (are those the ship names?? I have no idea)

And then of course you see ships w all these characters anyway (e.g crocbug, coracroc, beck x shanks) so in my mind it’s just that they’re all in a poly - kinda open - relationship

Overall it’s Crocodile x Mihawk x Buggy x Shanks x Beckman x Rosinante

and this kinda built up over the years of me reading diff fics + being a multishipper, and I’ve seen some crocodile x daz shippers so I guess Crocodiles and Beckmans dynamic would be similar (I also saw them interact in a Crocodile x Mihawk x Shanks x Rosinante fic so that’s where it came from). Tbh I just like Beck who we know fuck all about so I can do what I want w his character. Although its funny how the most we know about him is that he’s canonically a whore

anyway enough rambling about just beck, I also love the Rosinante x Mihawk dynamic, and I think Rosi and Buggy would get along relatively well just bc vibes, and then Crocodile x Rosinante is already a ship (I don’t like doflamingo 😁 so he’s staying out of it) but I am yet to come across any buggy x beckman shippers which I thought there would be more of because of shuggy idk

most of this idea came from me shipping them separately but at different times of their lives, so idk Rosinante knew Mihawk and Crocodile separately when they were younger, and then during cross guild Mihawk drops the whole “yeah I was a little in love with Doflamingos supposedly dead brother” and croc just goes “me too??” ANYWAY i’m off topic again, I think they would all kinda start talking again during the current times (imagine Rosi didn’t die) and that’s how the poly old man relationship started. but it’s all casual. Totally. but yeah I like that lot shipped w each other because I feel like they would all just let the others do their thing? Because they’re all old now so it’s kind of just “yeah we’ve got stability here which is rare so let’s enjoy while it lasts” and then it. keeps lasting

I’m just yapping about them cuz (already mentioned) I took my meds (adhd) (I like my brackets it feels like I’m adding thoughts on for extra information) and also because I’ve ran out of fics to read so I’m checking each tag EVERYDAY while also trying to build motivation back up for art fight attacks (unrelated) but that’s why I’ve been doodling Mihawk

I might add to this post + link an ao3 collection of fics that made me like all the ships so if anyone wants to understand the thought process a bit more, it might help to see what I’m basing it off of !!

Which you working with mihawk and buggy what’s been the most enjoyable aspect of each while working and doing business with them each?

Harming the clown can’t count-

mihawk is punctual and a good communicator. he excels in his chosen art of swordplay, and he knows when to bargain. he keeps a level and collected mind even when i don't.

buggy is colorful, which makes him more susceptible to predators and allows me to stealthily travel around him.

the thing is i think crocodile and mihawk are dating, mihawk and buggy are dating, but crocodile and buggy arent but they will be fucking each other if mihawk isnt available and theyre desperate enough. yknow?
