Difference between Monomind, Ambomind and Polymind.

Hello! As the coiner of Ambomindence, I'll like to explain who works my term and a identity like Ambomind.

Monomind: sees their subpersonalities as the same person

Ambomind: sees their subpersonalities as different individuals but not independent individuals

Polymind: sees their subpersonalities as totally independent individuals and different to the Anchor

I hope y'all can understand better my term :P

Coining a new term!!!

Tangled - when you're neither centred nor netted; you're something else, something in between, or you just don't know which one you are

I had a hard time figuring if I was centred or netted. We have one mind that the others are dependend on, but said mind also depends on the other minds and all of our minds are connected to one another. It didn't feel like I'm either so I just came up with something new. I hope somebody finds this usefull!! :3

Gaslighter

a mind who's job is to gaslight the polymind/mindset.

Some examples being:

・"everything is great, nothing could ever be wrong! everything is perfect."

・"no, we don't have ___, wdym?"

・"I'm not polyminded, I'm probably faking"

Hello! So sorry for sending my first ask to the wrong blog! /g

I do have some terms we’ve loved to have archived

Enthusiast = a mind that handles hobbies

Harp = a enthusiast who handles the hobby of singing

Stunner = a mind that handles mania

Overtime = a mind that deals with being overwhelmed , snappy and stressed due to insomnia episodes

Bed aid = a mind that helps winding down during the night by calling attention to how tired the vessel is

Duller = a mind that soothes the vessel down by blocking any and all thoughts that may come through

Portrait = a mind that handles the vessels identity of any kind

Don't worry about the blog thing lol, I don't have these side blogs linked to anything. They will be uploaded to the wiki... at some point!

Polymind/SeunusID term I coined with another person yesterday

modelmind/model-ID – a mind or ID that (most) other minds/IDs are based off of

modelmedia/modelsource – a source/media that (most) minds are based off of

modelmindset / model-[blank] – a collective that is (mostly) based off of the same subject

does this apply to anyone else? I'd be curious to know!!

Cycle: an act of redistributing a mind's or ID's traits into a new mind or ID.

Crebercycle: A collective that frequently cycles or frequently creates minds or IDs. Creber is a latin word meaning 'frequent'.

Raruscycle: A collective that rarely cycles or rarely creates new minds or IDs after their initial seperation. Rarus is a latin word meaning 'rare'.

Ambomindence

Ambomind (or Intermind) is a Polymind term about someone who sees their subpersonalities as a different/alternative versions of oneself, but don't see them as unique individuals.

(inspired on the median system concept but in the Polymind context)
