🎭🌞🎉🧭🪄 For the Pagan/polytheist ask game
Thank you for the ask!!
🎭
What is an emotionally impactful or a silly worship-related experience you've had?
recently, my wife lit my incense that was on my alter because it smelled funky in our apartment. She didn’t think much of it, since I didn’t all the time 😂 I had a ticked off being who just “wanted a prayer or something.” It was very comical
🌞
Which deity(ies) are you closest to/do you worship the most often?
This is a tough one, I’ve contacted and have been around a lot of different deities and beings. I would say I’m very close to the Greek pantheon, I’ve been working with them since I was 15-16. Hermes, Dionysus, and Apollo are always there for me. Honestly, all of the Greek gods I have encountered have been 10/10
I also am close to some Egyptian deities as well. I worked with them first, honestly. Anubis always the first god to “talk” to me
For some reason Skadi likes me. (My wife works with the Norse a lot)
🎉
Do you celebrate any festivals? If so, which ones?
I do celebrate solstices and equinoxes, as well as full moons. I also celebrate Samhain as a way to connect with my Irish ancestors.
🧭
What led you to your practice?
Honestly? I was a spooky kid. My mom was a ghost hunter, so I’ve been around mediums and the paranormal for a lot of my life. I would ask my mom if I could be a witch and she would tell me “when you’re older, you can make that choice.”
I accidentally discovered all of the witchcraft tags on tumblr back in the early 2010s, and I started my worship then. My first offering was a hot Lipton black tea for Thoth
🪄
Do you practice witchcraft? If yes, do you keep it separate from your deity worship?
I would say I dabble in witchcraft. Most of my practice has been working with deities, protection/ warding, and luck and wellness spells. Once I graduate in May, I would like to work on more spell casting and crafting.
