it’s so funny having read scholarship about Chicana feminism in the 20th century and about women crafting new terms to talk about the specific intersections of their marginalization, n being like ah yes it makes sense these women were targeted for this kinda thinking, sometimes by other women, who downplayed the thoughts presented and accused them of being traitors, then transitioning and seeing this exact same thing play out except it’s on tumblr lol
