bless the endocrinologist appt. i hope it pans out for you.
i figured i’d try endo before i go back to rheumatology. i’ve had some rhuems who’ve tried (bless them) but the best they can come up with is “well, it really looks like lupus, but your blood tests are all normal. now, if your kidneys started to fail then we could diagnose you with lupus no problem”

i'm so FUCKING happy for you babe
Thanks!!!! ME TOO!!! i’m tired, and in pain. but my appetite is back (It was gone for days, I survived off ensure-which was incredibly hard to get in the hospital, which everyone was baffled by). a few more days antibiotics then see general physician thursday and they might extend my course. just gotta monitor my temperature frequently.
if it had gone another day or if it hadn’t been the weekend i would’ve had infectious disease pulled into it. yesterday was hard, they almost transferred me hospitals but had to make sure i didn’t have infection in my heart before risking transfer.
anyways, boring crap aside, i’m home, im free. covered in bruises but not hooked up to anything anymore. i feel so light haha. time for rest. <3
LOVE YOU

jesus. is there a specialist you can go to at all??? like what… can you do about this if you’re doctors are shitholes
im gonna be seeing an endocrinologist for the first time ever this month, but not until the 20th. my testosterone levels were high the last two or three times i was tested, and after three months of back on birth control (estradiol) nothing’s changed. it’s gotten a bit worse actually.
here’s the thing: neurofibromatosis type one puts me at a pretty high risk for endocrine or adrenal gland tumors which may or may not be cancerous. although i’m at a high risk for literally every kind of tumor considering that NF1 is just “Grow Tumor Disease”

when i applied to the vet tech program after having dropped out of another school a couple years before my mom was convinced they were gonna wonder why i dropped out and what i’d done in between like it’d be a mark against me and i’m like mom. they don’t fucking care lmao??
whenever i talk about applying anywhere for work my mom always says ‘IF THEY ASKED WHY YOU DROPPED OUT JUST SAY YOU WERE SICK AND HAD TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF’ and they never have....ever

what about soup or crockpot meals?
i’m not sure. Crockpot meals are normally like, multiple servings for one person. And I eat like...toddler amounts now? (no more than 1/2 cup of food at a time). so i guess i could make one pot and freeze it but that’d involve eating a single meal for possibly weeks, depending on the size. THEN AGAIN, tiny crockpots are a thing, so there have to be recipes to make for those, right?? ill go look
