He felt ready to vomit, gloved hand gripping his chest as he stared ahead at their disintegrating, grayscale world.

”It…it was all going so fast…” His voice was thick with the memories. “He kept popping up, like a virus. I couldn’t focus on what I was doing…!I was panicking!”

Gangle was lost within her own world, she was not here. Because why should the world outside matter? It hadn’t mattered back then and now it was made clear that this place was the same. Gangle would escape from this, would find a place where she could be happy with everyone else. Those they lost, those they cherished, she could dream of a better place. One where they could all be happy.

Gangle drew on many pieces of paper around her. Tears falling from her mask like a flood. Yet, she still drew them those on the doors. She had to do it! Someone had to care! In her world they were all still ok. She could dream of a better place, she could escape there she had to!

Gangle hadn’t locked her door, she was in such a haze that nothing around her made a connection. It felt very much like that moment in Spudys when she…almost relived the soul crushing life she had. Forcing a smile to please people, her life not her own always miserable. But, she didn’t have to be sad anymore!

With her pencil the world was her canvas not Caine’s!

ragatha trailed close behind , not with courage , but with faltering resolve . her padded knuckles clutched at the hem of her dress , lifting it just enough to keep pace , each step careful , almost reluctant . words tumbled from her lips in a hurried , anxious thread — a fragile lifeline meant to reel pomni to reason &&. safety .

Jax’s tone is edged with annoyance as they glanced over to glare back at the jester. A single finger twitches, they may be slightly turned both ears are perked in her direction. Both whiskers were starting to also follow suit and begin twitching irritably.
