Pondathon Quest: Finding Your Food Soulmate with Alechia Dow The latest quest for the awesome Pondathon readathon (more information here) focuses on food soulmates, inspired by Alechia Dow's The Kindred, a YA sci-fi! Dow is a former pastry chef, food critic, culinary teacher, and Youth Services librarian, which is an awesome resume to have. Pondathon II Round 1 Wrap-Up

Hello friends! As the first round of the Pondathon II finished up on January 29th, here is the first wrap-up for it.

I got the Budding Friends page, and completed the first Companion Quest and fully completed the Xiaolong Side-Quest! Out of the books I read for this round, I think Under the Whispering Door might have been my favorite but it is a very tough choice. Very happy to say I thoroughly enjoyed every book I read. My garden is a bit sparse, but I'm challenging myself to non-duplicating of my rewards, mostly because I want to try and only have one garden.

Very excited for the next round. As it is February, I've decided in honor of Black History month I will be reading all my backlogged novels by black authors! (Also I just really need to read Reaper of Souls and Cinderella is Dead). I believe my round goal will be 6, just to keep on pace. Happy Reading!
