Kinda realising that all the things I used to characterise myself with maybe don't align with me anymore.
I don't actively listen to music at the same rate, I don't draw as much as I used to outside of the odd doodles, I don't remember the last time I finished a book.
Trying to figure out how I'm supposed to define myself outside of that is a bit bewildering
I keep coming across a lot of old artwork I want to share, but since I’m toying with idea of making stuff to sell, I wonder if I should set up (another) side blog for all that. Does anyone mind if I continue to share stuff here?
life is like a bumble bee. it will land on your arm if you stand in the middle of the playground really still.
So I know that in a lot of video games, there’s always a joke about wondering how the protags can carry all of their acquired gear. But it occurred to me the other day that in Pokemon, the “hammer space” effect actually makes sense. I mean, the whole point of the game is having the tech to stuff a 20ft dragon into an object you can fit in the palm of your hand. If they’ve reached a point in society they can do that with living creatures, who’s to say the reason it never comes up is because it’s been way longer known how to do that with material goods? If they have a way to make just about ANYTHING pocket sized, then it wouldn’t be any surprise to have a medicine, extra clothes, and even your bike sorted out into the compartments of your backpack. We see backpackers and hikers with way more gear than the protags do, but they also imply that they’re world travelers and probably have a lot more to account for than a kid does. I’m not sure if it’d be applicable to all objects, like say the ancient items you may acquire for plot may not have the ability to get shrunk down since they were built in an older era, but its more than likely this goes for all modern technology in this universe.
Men in Skirts
Something I've always wondered is why it's normal for a girl to wear a skirt but guys are restricted to pants. Because anatomically wouldn't it make more sense for (cis) girls to wear pants? Girls have legs that "meet" and there's a vagina. (Cis) Guy's legs meet and then... Penis. Is it not more comfortable for those dangly bits to be unconfined?!
I’m getting high in hopes that when I dream more vividly about you tonight, your presence will linger a little bit longer in between my fingers.
