YES!

actually full disclosure I didn’t really think of the defenders coming through as i kind of have them in a different category in my brain similar to X Men

but AOS? A THOUSAND TIMES YES! It would have been so cool to see them even just for that ten second acknowledgement!! I literally would have cheered out loud. It would have made that moment so much more powerful to me, because I’m more invested in most of that team than most of the main film characters! Even though I was never expecting them to go there, I still felt a little like something was missing without them 3

I think Grey's lost its heart when Cristina left so like I'm just waiting for it to end, but Maggie's storyline has been pretty good lately. I wish they'd pair Mer with Karev at this point but like you said it's unlikely. I think the show might end with Meredith dying and like that would make sense so I would support them. Did you see the Alzheimer's theory?

grey’s was still good even after yang’s deparature, like it definitely lost something huge, but there was still a ton of characters left to hold the show up. the issue is that of the original cast, its pretty much just alex and meredith, and the rest of these characters are having to live up to previous characters who people got really attached to. 

me personally the alzheimer’s theory makes the most sense, and i started thinking that myself pretty much once we learned about ellis having it. the quotes from meredith at the beginning and end of every episode are in the same format as some of the quotes from ellis’s journal that are revealed earlier in the series (back when richard gave her the diary originally), AND they foreshadowed this a bit with meredith getting tested for the gene a few seasons back, but i think they decided to extend the series a bit further. 

>mom has alzheimers>derek suggests meredith gets tested >mer gets tested because “i have to know”>mer decides she doesn’t want to know for sure, she’d just take life as it comes >meanwhile in this same season, derek is noticing meredith forgetting things or being somewhat scatterbrained>suddenly the next season starts and this alzheimers thing is pretty much dropped entirely, but the diary-format of the quotes by meredith continue 

the alzheimer’s theory makes the most sense, especially given the fact that ellis had her journal and a technique named after her, and the show is called GREYS anatomy. you could argue that the show is called that due to just meredith being the main character, but it fits with the meredith alzheimer journal theory as well that she might hand down a journal to her children as she grows older and the disease progresses. and the show could end with zola or one of the other kids starting their internship at greys--full circle. brilliant.

Unless the psychic link they are sharing gives her access to his mind. I think it might have. They were communicating somehow. Quentin never did have good shields

Idk though she's a niffin now

it doesnt mean anything though

shes been stuck in q the whole time and as far as weve seen, she can guess at what hes thinking, but has no access to his actual mind/memories, and the word as bond only adds more limits to what she can do when he give her access to his body

trust me, the moment she said it, i did the logic because i knew ppl were gonna ask this exact question
