i think what the other anon meant (and what i've always bee curious about too!) is how you get this paint-y feeling to a graphic, like in this one here /post/49221630280/seize-him-cut-his-throat-oh-wait-ive-changed

Ooooooh I see. I hope you don’t mind me posting this publicly, just in case anyone else asks..

Let me see if I remember what I did.. because that graphic was a mess tbh.. If I remember correctly, I think I achieved that affect by chance, it was mainly the texture use. I first duplicated my base image and set it to screen, then duplicated that merged image and set it to soft light to begin with.. Then I colorized the image to my liking and I cleaned out the floor area around Cersei and Littlefinger (I feel weird saying that lol) and added a white color fill to that section.. So for example, this was my original cap and with those adjustments made above this is what it looks like.. Then I added a red color fill and set it to Darken (at a lower opacity you’ll have to mess with the settings to get a desired outcome.. you basically want to fill in the white areas but not overdo it.. here’s mine). Then I added this texture (there’s more here) and set it to Overlay and then lowered the opacity until I was satisfied with the result (this is a bit sloppy and the colors suck, but for demonstration purposes it’ll do). I may have duplicated the overall image and added a Gaussian Blur Filter with about 1px radius and then set it to Soft Light and lowered the opacity a bit to give it more of a paint-y look… I don’t remember. But it was a bit more complex than this, I can tell you that. It took me a lot of time to get the colors right and make it all blend perfectly but that’s the gist of it.

yes, you are right! you remember me! *happily flies into the sun* i understand now though. Basically, she’s just not your fave. You are right that her chapters became boring after the first book. But I can be really defensive about her if I want ◕‿◕

yes of course i remember you, shh. i always remember people who are nice to me. yeah, she's never been my favourite and i don't think she ever will be - and i'm definitely not at her side when it comes to the war of westeros.
